MORE DETAILS ON ELECTRIC CFORCE EV110

20/12/2021

CFMOTO has released more details on the company’s entry into the ATV electric youth market with the New Zealand-bound CFORCE EV110.

The machine, targeted at riders 10 years and above, produces 4.5kW and 40Nm of torque, delivered from a 2.3kWh (44V, 53Ah) lithium battery that provides a range of about 60km – or over two hours of fun time. Charging time from zero to 100 per cent is four hours.

The maximum speed of the EV110 is 45km/h.

The chassis is designed for the ultimate in useability, manoeuvrability and accessibility: a short 1200mm wheelbase, wet weight of 130kg and double A-arm independent suspension at the front.

The explorative wherewithal continues with a mid-mounted preload-adjustable monoshock, and the ground-breaking kids’ ATV has maximum stopping power with three discs brakes.

The dimensions of the EV110 are about three-quarters to that of an adult-sized ATV. For those with a thirst for numbers, it’s 1500m long, 935mm wide and 950mm high, and the ground clearance is 120mm.

The machine tracks on 10-inch front tyres and eight-inch rears.

This lighting is full LED (including a light bar at the rear), while the tether, speed limiter and geo-fencing function – a smartphone-based control panel and vehicle status view – are the core components of the EV110’s intuitive safety package.

The EV110 will go on sale in Q2 2022 alongside a second youth quad – the CFORCE 110, powered by a conventional single-cylinder fuel-injected engine (4.7kW/6.4hp).

Prices for both models will be announced soon.
